By Road:

From the M27 (J11 - Gosport):

Follow A27 towards Fareham and Gosport. Keep straight on (past first exit) until the Town Quay roundabout (Tesco on right). Filter left following signs to Gosport A32. Straight across first roundabout. Past the fuel station, bear left following sign to Gosport A32. Follow the A32 all the way to Gosport. You may also see occasional yellow developer signs to 'Royal Clarence Marina'. 

 

At Fort Brockhurst (on left) go straight across both roundabouts following signs to Town Centre A32 and keep going. You will eventually pass St Vincent College on the left, then some shops and big oil storage tanks. Ignore sign to Stoke Road shops on right. Keep following the A32 as it curves left past a wooded area on the left and playing fields on the right. Weevil Lane is next left, by St George's Barracks, signposted 'Royal Clarence Yard' and 'Royal Clarence Marina'.

 

Cooperage Green Visitor Car Park (4 hrs free parking) is 2nd left on Weevil Lane. Post code for Sat Navs: PO12 1AX.

 

North Meadow Visitor Parking (4hrs free parking but limited spaces) is at the far end of Weevil Lane after it turns right to enter Royal Clarence Yard from the North. Post code for Sat Navs: PO12 1BP.

 

By Rail:

Nearest station: Portsmouth Harbour (PMH).  Follow signs to 'Gosport Ferry' (follow link for fares and timetable).  On the Gosport side there is a 15 min walk up the A32 to Royal Clarence Yard (follow the Waterfront Trail chain link stones in the pavement), or a short taxi ride.

 

By Cycle or On Foot:

Follow Gosport's Waterfront Trail which is marked by chain-link stones in the pavement, linking attractions on Gosport's waterfront from Haslar to Priddy's Hard. More information available from the Tourist Office tel: 023 9252 2944.
