Signs of Change - Update from from Alex Watson

Alex Watson of Watson’s Property Limited, gave us an update on his progress with preparing and marketing the commercial properties at Royal Clarence Marina.

Alex said "New window vinyls will be installed this week (WC 31st Oct).

The contractors are due to start installing the insulation and floor screed in unit 2 on 6th November, then into unit 1 likely the week after, and unit 3 a week after that. Work will be carried out between 8am to 5pm Mon to Fri, we have worked to minimise disruption and there will be minimal drilling/cutting noises, and no petrol tools used inside! There will be some truck movements delivering the cement floor screed, for 1 day per unit, which will generate some noise, but the trucks will be contained within the loading areas and won’t block roadways or parking.

We asked about the stories on social media speculating that The Conflict Military Museum are about to take up residence in The Slaughterhouse. Alex said, "I can’t confirm anything about that – they have viewed the property but nothing further. I think it could be a great addition to RCY, so I am happy to work with them."
